Tentative Agreement Struck at Eleventh Hour
ASTFA reached a tentative agreement in the eleventh hour of day-thirteen negotiations with the Board of AST. ASTFA’s bargaining team met the Employer in a second day of conciliation on Monday, June 30, 2025, and parties reached an agreement shortly after 11:30 PM. Notice had been given that strike action would be taken if a deal was not reached by 12:01 AM on July 1.
Further details about the tentative agreement will follow. Meanwhile, classes will run on Tuesday, July 1; two members of the bargaining team will teach, and one will help staff the library.
