Alyda Faber: President

Dr. Alyda Faber is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Ethics at AST, where she has taught since 2001. Her research is focused on theological anthropology, most recently in poetic forms. She has served as ASTFA’s President since 2009.

David Deane: Past President

Dr. David Deane is Associate Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at AST, where he has taught since tk. At various times he has served ASTFA on the bargaining team and as communications officer, Secretary, and, very briefly, President. He is currently Past President. His research is focussed on how the doctrine of the Holy Spirit informs moral theology.

David Csinos: Secretary

The Rev. Dr. David Csinos is Associate Professor of of Practical Theology at AST, where he has taught since 2016. Dave is a member of the bargaining team and serves as secretary for ASTFA. His research interests include homiletics, faith formation, ministry innovation, and qualitative research.

Daniel Driver: Treasurer & Chief Negotiator

Dr. Daniel Driver is Professor of Old Testament at AST, where he has taught since 2016. He teaches across the Law, Prophets, and Writings, and his research has focused on the history of the discipline, canon, and creation. He serves ASTFA as Treasurer and Chief Negotiator.

The Rev. Canon Dr. Jody Clarke is Professor of Pastoral Theology at AST, where he has taught since tk.

Evangeline Kozitza Dean

Dr. Evangeline Kozitza Dean is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at AST, where she has taught since 2021.

Susan MacAlpine-Gillis

The Rev. Dr. Susan MacAlpine-Gillis is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at AST, where she has taught since tk.

David MacLachlan: ANSUT Representative

The Rev. Dr. David MacLachlan is Associate Professor of New Testament at AST, where he has taught since tk.

Robert Martel

Robert Martel is Instruction Librarian at AST, where he has worked since tk. Areas of focus are teaching research practices, sharing in Library admin duties, and repairing old books. In the past he has served ASTFA as Secretary and as a member of the negotiation team.

Andy O’Neill

The Rev. Dr. Andy O’Neill is Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at AST. Before joining the core faculty in July 2021, he taught as a sessional instructor at AST for eleven years. His current research is focused on resilience in ministry and transformational shifts in the church’s understanding of ministry and mission. Andy is the CAUT Defence Fund coordinator for ASTFA.

Kristen Rose

Kristen Rose is a Professional Librarian at AST, where she has worked since 2022.
